With the beginning of the pre-season matches and training about to get underway, it’s about time we got some details about Barca’s plans when they visit the most northern area of the United Kingdom, Scotland. Home to football teams such as Celtic, Rangers and Hearts, Scotland has produced some great talent over the years. The team leaves Barcelona for Edinburgh on the 23rd of this month and return on the 28th. The team will enjoy double training sessions on the days that they don’t have a game scheduled, which sounds really good, because training happens to be one of my favourite aspects of football. The team will be based at St Andrews, which is where they will conduct their training sessions and be staying for the 6 days.

So What’s The Plan?

The following is the team’s itinerary when they decide to invade Scotland:

Monday 23rd July
11:00 - Flight departs from Barcelona to Edinburgh
12:45 - Arrival in Edinburgh before heading on to the Old Course Hotel.
19:00 - Training Session

18:30 - Training

Friday 27th July
