The Goal I Scored On The Weekend

One of the readers of this blog has already commented about the goal he scored the other day and that got me thinking about the goal that I scored on the weekend :D It definitely wasn’t as spectacular as his goal but many people commended me for the way I handled the situation to put my side ahead. It was surprisingly very similar to Wayne Rooney’s goal, which he scored against AC Milan in the 1st Leg of the deciding UEFA Champions League Semi-Final. That was one big mouthful wasn’t it? Moving on, you can find the video below of the great goal Rooney scored.

Now what makes Rooney’s goal so masterful is the fact that he hit the ball first time and the goal keeper Dida, was caught napping on the goal line. As a result, he didn’t see this strike coming. The power and speed of this move topped off the great work built up by Ryan Giggs. Keep in mind my team mate didn’t pass the ball to me in the same fashion, but the finishing was pretty much the same, but I think Rooney’s goal was probably better looking than mine. Well I know first hand that it’s hard to beat the best in what they’re so good at doing :)

This is totally unrelated to your post.

Your R10s. I read your post about them a while ago but now I want to buy some decent boots and I don’t know what to get. My first thought were vapors but it’s hard to find them in 11.5 even on the internet. And the ones that are available are $200. I’m thinking Air Legends or R10s. So tell me more about them please. I read some reviews on soccer.com. There was a large variety of responses. Most of them were something like “YA YA YA GET THESE YAT HEY ROCK AND RONALDINHO WEARS THEM” so I am not too confident. And there were a lot with negatives such as bad touch after some time or rips from shots etc. I know you play a lot so I doubt many other people that I can contact could tell me about them better than you. Er…that was a really confusing sentence eh? Anyways, please tell me how your boots are faring and give me some advice, thanks.
