Now, many people come to this site in hope of getting some freestyle tips here and there. It’s fun, flamboyant and displays flair on your part. But that doesn’t mean freestyle = great performance on the field. They both happen to be on opposite end of the scale. Have you been dedicating your time to freestyling? Then let me give you the pros and cons of freestyle football:
Pros
+ It’s really cool
+ It makes you look good
+ Helps your mid-air control
Cons
- Can hardly use it during games
- Takes up valuable time
- Needs a lot of perseverance
It Comes Down To Personal Preference
To add to the cons list, little kids could be better than you at freestyle and put you to shame. That last one was a joke, however, in all seriousness, freestyle is a great way to pass the time if it’s raining outside. But I tell you what, when I startfreestyling in the house, my parents never appreciate it. So the moral of this post is to think about what is a better way to spend your time, out on the park, having shots at goal using your left foot or standing there working on your juggling. I would much rather take shots on goal with my left foot than use my valuable time for something I would hardly use during a game.
Time For Some Inspiration
Ronaldinho spent a lot of his time trying to emulate his idols such as Pele and others who came up with new tricks all the time, and then he would go on his own and learn these tricks for himself. maybe you have enough time to do the same. I currently have learnt nearly all the tricks he has displayed in the following video, but what makes you really stand out, is your ability to come up with your own. So here is some motivation. Enjoy
