As the old saying goes, do what you love and the money will follow. So in essence you shouldn’t really be thinking too much about the amount of money the career you choose to take will bring you. I used to be very money oriented with my decisions and I found that life became boring and lacked quality. It was only until I started working as a copywriter that I realised that money comes and goes like the seasons of the year, effortlessly.

Don’t Quit Your Day Job

I’m not here to tell you to go ahead and quit everything, then go after your dreams of becoming a great footballer like Ronaldinho, no that’s not what I’m saying at all. I’m telling you that if your talent wasn’t nurtured as a child, that is, you weren’t put straight into representative football to help your gift along, consider having a backup plan. It is a well thought out and intelligent thing to do. Have a degree handy so if you do fail or the worst happens and you get a life changing injury preventing you from playing football, you have something to fall back onto.

What About Me, What Am I Doing?

I’m studying a Bachelors Degree in Visual Communications and Majoring in Advertising. I have found study to be a great investment and can really help you as I have outlined above. At the same time I play football 5 times a week and I also visit the gym 4 times a week. The main idea behind this lifestyle is the parallels of potential career paths that I might take. In either case, within 2 years I will be well prepared to be a football player or an advertising executive. The wind will have to choose which side to blow me over to.

I Love My Football

And in my heart of hearts, I hope that I do become a great footballer. This year is a pivotal and exciting year in my life, added to the fact that if I train hard enough, I might just be good enough to really go somewhere with my football. If it is not to be, I look forward to a life of client relationships and a busy lifestyle. In the end, you and I need to make the most of the time we have because it is a gift for us to be alive and we have the opportunity to make something of it. So cherish it and everything that you do, do it with all your might. Especially your football game.
