Okay, it’s been at least two weeks since I bought these beautiful shoes and they have undergone some rough treatment and will undergo some more in the coming weeks. I have been endlessly shooting, sprinting and passing the ball through intense rain and sun. I’m not kidding about the intense rain part, the boots got drenched and took 5 days to dry :) Pretty good when you think about it, because it is made of kangaroo leather, and the fact is that leather and water don’t go well together, but these boots have held up.

Some Comparisons?

Now let’s look at some comparison photos and have a look at the different characteristics. Here is a before and after (You might recognise the first photo from an earlier post)

By the way, apologies for the bad picture of my legs, I really should have taken a better picture. But moving on, you can see the various stretch marks and loss of shine the boots have suffered from the training sessions I’ve had. I have been applying a product called Nubuck, known to lengthen the life of leather, so it may not look that bad. I think I might get over looking after these shoes pretty soon like I did for my car, but that is a different story all together :)
